We’re focusing on increasing trust in Web3 and DeFi to ensure that users are transacting with trustworthy platforms, assets, users, and more.

We have three primary products:

  • The UTU Protocol uses blockchain to incentivize users for: 
  • - Performing trustworthy actions, such as endorsing trustworthy platforms and providing accurate ratings and reviews.
  • - Contributing their data to the network to help improve our recommendation models.
  • Our Trust API replaces typical rating and review tools and uses AI to adapt to users’ unique preferences and context to recommend trustworthy entities they may be interested in.
  • Our Creditworthiness API leverages data analysis and social connections to improve the accuracy of credit assessments for decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms globally.

What we need

We are looking for a Head of Growth to lead the adoption of our products and increase general awareness of UTU in the broader Web3 / DeFi ecosystem. 

You primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategy for new products, features, enhancements, and partnerships by forming the positioning, messaging, and value proposition.
  • Create, launch, and track growth experiments that increase UTU’s user base.
  • Leverage analytical tools to measure and monitor awareness, engagement, and campaign performance.
  • Own all communication with our customers, community members, investors, and more across various marketing channels.
  • Manage content calendar and produce articles, visuals, and other content.
  • Implement ads, sponsorships, and other paid marketing across social networks, search, podcasts, newsletters, and other channels.
  • Keep up to date with trending topics in crypto and DeFi to understand how UTU can be best positioned in the space.
  • Maintain relationships with media, PR outlets, and influencers to amplify the voice of UTU.
  • Assist product development by developing methods for customers to provide feedback and insights.
  • Contribute to any other growth initiatives that arise.

What you bring to the table:

  • At least 5 years of measurable marketing success, with a focus on B2C and viral growth.
  • Expert knowledge and high usage of DeFi tools such as decentralized exchanges, lending dapps, crypto wallets, and more.
  • Strong content creation and copywriting skills, with the ability to transform technical product aspects to clear positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
  • Experience using social media platforms such as Twitter, Telegram, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, and others to drive audience growth and engagement.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to run experiments, measure, and adapt.
  • Familiarity with marketing, sales, project management, and analytics tools such as email marketing, WordPress, Trello, Google Analytics, and others.
  • An eye for design.
  • Ability to work as a team as well as independently - you are not afraid to default to action, set a direction, and execute autonomously.
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Experience working at an early-stage startup and all the uncertainty that it comes with.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with video creation is a plus.
  • You have a strong existing social media presence.

Other details: 

  • This is a remote position.
  • Working at odd hours may be required, so schedule flexibility may be necessary.
  • This may be a contract-to-hire position. It’s good for both of us to date before getting married!
