The Role

We're looking for a Senior Blockchain Backend Engineer to build the core systems that power our infrastructure platform. You'll own transaction pipelines, blockchain data processing, real-time event delivery, and the APIs our customers depend on. This is our most critical engineering hire — the backend is the product.

What You'll Build

• Transaction simulation, validation, submission, and confirmation tracking systems
• Multi-RPC provider orchestration with intelligent routing and failover
• Real-time blockchain data processing and event delivery pipelines
• REST, gRPC, and WebSocket APIs serving as our primary product interface
• Retry protection, idempotency guarantees, and duplicate transaction prevention
• Webhook infrastructure for reliable event delivery to customer applications
• Structured logging, distributed tracing, and operational metrics across all services
• Health monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery workflows

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years backend engineering experience building production distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in at least two of: Rust, Go, TypeScript/Node.js
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Proven track record designing APIs (REST, gRPC, or WebSocket) at scale
• Solid understanding of idempotency, eventual consistency, circuit breakers, and failover strategies
• Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data pipelines
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Experience implementing observability: structured logging, Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry
• Strong API security knowledge: authentication, rate limiting, input validation

Nice to Have

• Experience with blockchain infrastructure: RPC providers, transaction lifecycle, or event indexing
• Familiarity with Solana or EVM internals (nonce management, gas estimation, blockhash handling)
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS with usage metering
• Background in financial systems or latency-sensitive data pipelines
• Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
