Benjamin Nelkin

I’m a big picture thinker with a background in DeFi, SaaS, Account Management and Customer Service. I’m passionate about the future of smart contracts, blockchain technology and cryptoassets. I believe this technology has the potential to change the world, and I decided that I was tired of sitting on the sidelines and needed to get involved. I’ve been an active investor in cryptocurrencies since 2016, but only recently have I decided to take the next step.

In early 2021 I was lucky enough to gain the opportunity to help develop a community driven, fair launch DeFi token called Spaceman. Working on this project has helped me to understand the DeFi landscape in a much more significant way, as I’ve been responsible for building strategic partnerships, coordinating with centralized exchanges and playing an active role in strategic discussions with the founding members. Working on Spaceman has given me invaluable experience, but it has been entirely unpaid work and I’m ready to further my career in the cryptocurrency industry.

My past experience makes me well suited to any Customer Service, Account Management or Business Development roles. At Boston Scientific I was responsible for the rollout of an entirely new line of solutions and services in the Florida market. I worked on a small team of entrepreneurially minded individuals to ensure the success of our mission to help Boston Scientific break into the healthcare services and solutions market. In this role I managed existing client relationships and ensured customer satisfaction while also developing new business opportunities. Before that I served a similar role at Xerox, managing client relationships and selling complex office and software solutions to mid-size businesses and government agencies in the Boston market.

I’m confident my past experience will translate well into the world of cryptocurrencies, blockchains and smart contracts. I have been a believer in the future of this industry for five years, and I am now ready to play an active role in building that future. I am now looking for the right company, with the right group of people, where my past skills and experience will allow me to be a valuable asset to my team and the organization as a whole.
