Hi, I'm Kevin.

I've been designing for 20 years and coding for 10—which means I've seen the industry evolve from Flash animations to modern React apps, and I've evolved right along with it.

The Journey: I started as a designer, spending years crafting interfaces, building brands, and obsessing over pixels. About a decade ago, I realized I didn't just want to hand off designs—I wanted to build them. So I learned to code, and it turned out I was pretty good at it. Now I'm that rare hybrid who can design a beautiful interface in the morning and implement it in production-ready code by the afternoon.

What I Build: My core strength is front-end development—I love creating smooth, responsive UIs that feel great to use. But lately, I've been pushing into full-stack territory, building complete applications from database to deployment. I'm most comfortable when I can own the entire user experience, from the first wireframe to the final deployment.

My Tech Stack:

• Frontend: React, Next.js, React Native—I've built everything from simple landing pages to complex mobile apps
• Languages: JavaScript and TypeScript (TS is my preference for any serious project)
• Styling: Tailwind CSS for speed, shadcn/ui for beautiful components—I value maintainable, scalable CSS
• Backend: Supabase and Firebase for modern, real-time applications
• Integrations: Extensive experience with fintech APIs and crypto integrations

Real-World Experience: I've worked with fintech startups where security and precision matter. I've built branding systems that scale across platforms. I've integrated complex crypto APIs where one mistake could cost real money. I've been freelancing on platforms like Gitcoin, Steem, and bitcointalk.org, building trust through consistent, quality work.

How I Work: I'm casual and flexible—I can jump on a quick call, collaborate in Slack, or work async across time zones. I adapt to your team's style. But don't mistake "casual" for "careless"—when it comes to the actual work, I'm meticulous. Clean code, pixel-perfect designs, thorough testing.

I ask questions when things are unclear (because assumptions break projects). I communicate proactively (you'll never wonder where I'm at with a task). And I ship on time (or I tell you early if something's going to take longer).
